Trends in Wireless Mesh

I noticed that Google has a new system that search out Trends on the internet. What I see is that these trends are based on articles written. I'm not sure if they are key word searchs however I search "Wireless Mesh" and found that Korea is the number one country try to adopt this technology. I'm not too sure how Google Trends actually works but I think that with Google News being associated with Trends that this is how the trends are derived.

If this is the case then Wireless Mesh is really taking off. If you look for wireless mesh open source or even Locustworld the trend does not have enough information.

So if you know the trends for Open Source Wireless Mesh please let me know.
